League Racer is a mobile racing game you play in private leagues with your friends. This page explains what data the app collects, why, and where it is stored.
Yüksel Berkay Erdem (Türkiye), the developer of League Racer, is the controller of the data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request: support@league-racer.com.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Anonymous ID a randomly generated identifier |
To tell you apart from other players in your league and to let you write only your own results. It is not linked to an email or a name; we don't know who you are. |
| Player name the nickname you choose in each league |
To show you on the leaderboard. You choose what to type; it doesn't have to be your real name. |
| League details league name, invite code, memberships |
So your friends can join with the code and see the same leaderboard. |
| Race results time, best lap, points, track, date |
The whole point of the game: building your league's leaderboard. |
| League chat messages message text, the message replied to, emoji reactions, time |
So you can chat with your league mates. Messages are visible only to approved members of that league and only on that league day; the chat clears from the screen every day. Messages stay on the server for the period below so reports can be reviewed, and they are never used for advertising or profiling. |
| Push notification token only if you allow notifications |
To send "a friend passed you" and league chat notifications. You can turn chat notifications off on the Profile page. |
| Purchase record the store's transaction id, league, date, platform |
Only if you make a purchase: to avoid processing the same purchase twice and to grant the runs to everyone in the league. We never see your payment details. |
The game only has rewarded ads: when your daily runs are used up you can, if you want, watch a video to earn one more run. Nothing in the game opens an ad by itself.
Ads are served by Google AdMob and requested as non-personalised: no interest profile is built, ads aren't chosen from your past behaviour, and the iOS tracking prompt never appears — because we don't track you.
To be transparent: even with personalisation off, Google may process your device's advertising identifier to run the ad system (frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregate reporting), as well as a coarse location derived from your IP address (country/city level), ad interactions and crash/performance logs of the ad component. None of this reaches us and none of it is used to track you across apps. It is declared in our App Store privacy label.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you see Google's consent screen before any ad is shown. It is Google's certified User Messaging Platform, which also stores your choice. No ad is loaded without consent. You can change your choice at any time from Profile → Ad preferences. Withdrawing consent only disables the extra run earned by watching an ad; the rest of the game works the same.
There is a single purchase: a tank of fuel for the league. The runs go to everyone in the league, not just you — we don't sell an advantage over your rivals. Payment is handled by Apple or Google; we only keep the store's transaction id. When you buy fuel, the other players in your league can see it (a line with your player name and a mark next to your name).
These are never sent to the server: your sound settings, your practice car setup and your best practice lap times.
To improve the game we collect anonymous usage data, linked only to the anonymous ID:
We don't record your screen or touches, don't use your advertising ID (IDFA), don't use this data for ad targeting and don't share it with anyone.
Under the GDPR (Art. 6) and Türkiye's KVKK (Art. 5) we process data on these bases:
These periods are enforced automatically on the server (a deletion job runs every day):
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| League chat messages and reactions | 12 months (cleared from the screen daily; a reported message is kept until the report is resolved) |
| Closed reports | 12 months |
| Anonymous usage data (events, day presence) | 90 days |
| Anonymous ID, player name, league and race results, purchase record | As long as you use the service; deleted on request |
| Push notification token | While notifications are on; when the app is deleted Apple invalidates the token and we delete it |
League, race and chat data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). All connections are encrypted with HTTPS, and database rules technically enforce that each player can write only their own rows and read only the leagues they are a member of. Google (Firebase, AdMob) and Apple may process data outside the EU and Türkiye; those transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
| Who | What for |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and server for league and race data |
| Google AdMob | Rewarded ads (non-personalised) |
| Google Firebase | Crash reports (Crashlytics) and anonymous usage statistics (Analytics) |
| Apple / Google | In-app purchase payment, receipt validation and push notification delivery |
Beyond these, we don't sell, rent or transfer your data to anyone.
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected, erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent (GDPR Art. 15–21, KVKK Art. 11). Send your request to support@league-racer.com; since there is no account, please include your league name and player name so we can find your data. We reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your EU country, or with the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye.
When you leave a league, your membership of that league is removed. To have all your data deleted, write to support@league-racer.com.
League players see each other's player names and league chat messages. Because users write these, we have rules, enforced with zero tolerance:
By using the app you agree to these rules.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we hold such data, we delete it.
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is renewed.
